Ekaterina's favorite decorative arts are and will remain mosaics and stained glass, and she utilizes every known mosaic assemblage technique, from Byzantine and Florentine to academic, in her practice.

When working with stained glass, Ekaterina prefers to combine styles, experimenting in both classical and modern manners.

Ekaterina's Creative Biography:

1994 – 2000 – Graduated from the Alexander Shtiglitz St. Petersburg State Academy of Applied and Industrial Arts, Department of Monumental and Decorative Arts.
2000 – Became a Member of Russian Union of Artists.
Starting 2001 – Head of the WS Design Studio (St. Petersburg).
Awarded State Grant for her creative accomplishments.
Awarded St. Sergius of Radonezh Medal from Russian Orthodox Church.
Received Letter of Gratitude from the Administration of the City of St. Petersburg for her efforts in the reconstruction of the city center before the celebration of the city's 300th birthday.
Received Commendation from the Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church.
Awarded Order of St. Isapostolos Princess Olga from the Russian Orthodox Church third degree.
Winner of "Best Art Project of 2004" Prize for her work on eight panel mosaics of the Patriarchs of the Russian Orthodox Church. Moscow. The Church of the Life-Giving Trinity.
